We had a very pleasant stay at the Fairmont and would happily return. The room was comfortable, the host was welcoming and knew the area well. The hotel was immaculate and clearly well cared for, and there’s a tram stop nearby. The positive reviews are accurate.

Breakfast was lovely, with a full fry-up and continental options, and I’ll be booking here again every year for my Blackpool visit. The place has a warm, home-from-home, family feel. The lovely couple who run it were so friendly and helpful. They offered me a drink when I arrived, showed me to my room and checked that everything was alright, and helped carry my luggage upstairs. My room had tea, coffee, mini biscuits, towels and toiletries. It was very clean and tidy, with lovely rooms and comfortable beds. An amazing night’s stay, I’d definitely recommend it.

The breakfast was a highlight, continental with cereals, fruit, yoghurt and mixed pastries, and they offered the children pancakes, waffles and even sausage baps. For £70 off-peak for two adults and two children, this little place is excellent value, and we’ll definitely return for another weekend. Karen gave us a lovely warm welcome. Our family room was cosy and nicely decorated, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like home, plus a good-sized TV and lots of hot drink options. It was nice and warm, the bed was very comfortable, and we slept well. The bathroom was small but modern, with a good shower.

The owner knew the area well and gave us good recommendations for places to eat and visit, though I’m rubbish with names and can’t remember his. We got a warm welcome, and the rooms were spotless. The location suited us: away from the busier parts of Blackpool but still an easy walk to the tram stop at the Cliff Hotel. Breakfast included cereals, yoghurt, toast and pastries, with a sausage cob also available. There’s no complaint from us, and I’d stay again. Café 47, just around the corner, does a great all-day breakfast on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

We stayed Friday to Sunday for my daughter’s dance competition, and it was a hidden gem. The room was lovely, the breakfast was lovely, and the atmosphere was warm and friendly. Everything was exceptionally clean. It’s about a 25-minute walk to the tower and shops. I’d highly recommend it.
