Holiday Inn Blackpool by IHG

Breakfast was a delight, with literally everything you could imagine. The hotel itself was clean, lovely, and very trendy, and our room was spacious, comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed. Jess at reception was so helpful and friendly, and lovely with my 4 year daughter. Nothing was too much trouble. I'm already looking forward to coming back. Thank you holiday in Blackpool for making my daughter's 4th birthday so special xx

The rooms were spacious and clean, and the bar and food were reasonably priced. Everyone was super friendly, especially Freya on the front desk, who was helpful. A very pleasant place to stay, with comfort and luxury. It would put some 4 star hotels to shame.

The room had everything I could want: lots of USB ports by the bed, a great bed, a lovely shower, and heated mirrors that didn't steam up. It was super clean, like a brand-new room, and had a silent fan, nice A/C, and great views. The bar was great too, and the staff lovely. It's the best hotel room I've had, and I travel extensively for work.

Staff were friendly, parking came at a good discount, and the train and tram are close by. I did have to ask staff to register the parking twice before the discount worked. The room was a decent size with a really comfortable sofa bed, though smaller than the one we had last year. As a Diamond member staying a few nights, I might have expected a larger room or a better view. It's our second stay, and this one felt quite average. The interior is relatively modern and the location is good. The TV was advertised as smart but had no smart function. WiFi exists, but we couldn't connect in the room, only on the ground floor. Since casting to the TV wasn't possible anyway, it wasn't a huge loss. I left a separate review of the very poor experience at Platform 9 bar.
