My Adam Hotel

THE HOTEL IS HORRIBLE!!! It's dirty and old, and they don't offer breakfast. The rooms smelled awful and were filthy, from the walls, mirrors and bathrooms to the carpet, which looked like it hadn't been cleaned for months. The kettle in my room seemed to have gone at least four or five months without cleaning, and the television, tables and sink were dirty too. There was loads of hair on the carpet and rubbish everywhere, along with clothes, sheets and pillows stuffed in the closets. They have no car parking. If you want to cancel, they won't let you and won't refund your money, so you're forced to stay or lose what you paid.

The manager, Mr afwork, was one of the nicest people I've met, a hard worker who was polite and respectful. There are lots of hotels to choose from, but I'm glad my partner booked Tower View for our first stay. It's not about being posh for me, just being in Blackpool, and the hotel was peaceful with spacious, clean rooms. We were the last to enjoy breakfast there, but with so many food distributors in Blackpool, breakfast isn't a problem. We came for a week this time and will all return, rather than just coming for a weekend. Thank you, Mr afwork.

Afework was a great host and nothing was too much trouble. The bed was clean and comfortable, and we slept well every night. We'll definitely come back.

The member of staff who checked us in was rude. The card machine supposedly wasn't working, so we had to walk around the corner in the rain to get cash, with no warning beforehand. The rooms were dated and the toilet door wouldn't shut. The window wouldn't close either. The car park was full when we arrived, so we had to use pay and display.
