The location was excellent, and the staff were really friendly and helpful. I was disappointed by the cleaning, though. There was dust all over the headboard, so bad I could leave a visible line by wiping my finger across the top. The vacuuming and mopping missed the edges of the room and bathroom, which were dirty, and the mirror had been wiped but was covered in huge smears. I’d paid extra for a room with a view, but most of what I saw was sky, which any room would have had. I could see the top half of the tower, but from the 5th floor the roof edge blocked a big part of the window. I regret paying for the upgrade. It didn’t feel like the view I’d paid for, and I feel robbed of that extra money.

The cooked buffet breakfast was a highlight, with fresh poached eggs and vegetarian sausages made to order. The restaurant staff were attentive, too. Our Premier Inn PLUS room came with a fridge and complimentary water, a coffee pod machine, complimentary chocolates, an iron, lovely-smelling soaps, a great shower, and a very comfortable chair with a footstool. The bed was comfy, and the corridors smelled fresh. The tower view was nice and the location was perfect. The staff were great. My one small criticism is that the room was a little dusty. I would return, and probably will. Keep an eye out for their occasional free breakfast promotion. I think I booked around black Friday and paid around £60 for two of us on a Sunday in a Premier Inn PLUS room with two buffet breakfasts included. I thought that was very good value.

The accessible room had plenty of space to get around with my walker, plus a large wet room bathroom and a nice, comfy bed. Check-in was smooth and reception was friendly. We stayed two nights, and the location was ideal, just a short walk from the promenade, pier, Tower and town centre. There’s disabled street parking around the hotel and a multi-storey car park a short walk away. I highly recommend this Premier Inn.

The people working here made this the best Premier Inn I’ve stayed at, possibly. Everyone was welcoming and cheerful, from the cleaners to the restaurant and reception teams, and that warmth carried over to the guests. Thanks to all of you. The location is great, and parking at the Talbot Rd multistory just up the road was a breeze. I’ve attached a photo from the restaurant and one showing the view from the room.

The view of the tower from the 5th floor was great, and street noise wasn’t much of an issue. The town is handy to reach, and the train station and car parks are about a 5-10 minute walk away. But of the three lifts, only one worked during our four days, so there was a lot of waiting at certain times. The room was pretty clean, though the bathroom needed more attention: the shower head and soap/shampoo dispenser were dirty. I’d stay again, but I’d avoid the restaurant. It was terrible!
