We’ve been to Blackpool a few times a year for weekends with the kids and have tried plenty of hotels. This is one of the best by far. The continental breakfast had more choice than we could ask for, and the manager couldn’t do enough for us. The modern, clean rooms had everything we needed, and the tower is about five minutes away. I’ve stayed in some dives in Blackpool, but this definitely isn’t one. We were honestly impressed and will be back.

Anne and Bob made us feel at home as soon as we arrived at Windsor House Hotel on Hornby Road. They’re genuinely lovely hosts, friendly and helpful, and happy to chat or share tips about the local area. We had a fantastic stay and highly recommend it.

The hotel was fantastic and I couldn’t fault it. I would have liked a hot breakfast, though. A buffet server with boiled eggs, fried eggs and beans would go well with the toast and take very little effort. I’d definitely recommend the hotel. Philip McWhirter.

The location was good, and we enjoyed our stay. The room was clean, though a bit small. Breakfast was good, with Bob on hand to serve sausage and eggs. I’d come back for a few days.

The continental breakfast had a fantastic range of choices, and the owner was so friendly and ready to help. I visited Blackpool with my son and we stayed in room 8, which was clean and had everything we expected. The bed was very comfortable, and my son liked being able to use Netflix and other apps on the smart TV. We picked the hotel partly because it’s a short walk from the town centre and attractions, and its good Booking.com ratings helped too. The positive reviews are deserved. I’d have no hesitation about coming back if I needed somewhere in Blackpool.
