Sandpiper Holiday Apartments

Everything was well equipped, the beds were comfy, and the place was clean throughout. The rooms are a little dated, but that adds to the character. The tram stop is just across the road, and the host even rang my daughter to check we’d managed to park. It’s a great little place, and I’ll definitely come back.

The beds in room 2 were really comfortable, but the shower wasn’t very good and the bathroom was a bit small, though still usable for a bigger person. Around the ceiling light, the roof looks like someone tried to steal the bulb.

We’ve been visiting Blackpool once a year for the illuminations, and Sandpiper apartments have been the best so far, well worth the price. The owner was polite and friendly, and parking was right in front of the apartment. It’s close to the seafront, and inside it was warm, cosy and quiet, with very spacious rooms. The kitchen was clean and had plenty of pots, pans, plates and cups, plus all the essentials. Bedding, towels, toilet rolls and a PlayStation were provided too. We’ll definitely return and recommend it to others.

Apartment 3 had plenty of space for our family of seven. One bedroom has bunk beds and a single bed, while the other has a king size bed and bunk beds. The kitchen was fully functional, with an oven, electric hob, microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster. The tram stop is right outside, with trams every 10 to 15 minutes, and it’s next to the Pleasure Beach and a Wetherspoon. The owner even mailed back my daughter’s teddy after she left it behind. I couldn’t fault the place and will stay again.
