This hotel’s a little rough around the edges, in a nice way. The owners are absolutely brilliant.

The heating could have been on more. I booked this hotel for a birthday treat because it was for over-50s, so I expected the rooms to be warmer.

A really quiet place to stay, with excellent rooms and a lovely breakfast. The staff serving it were very friendly. I’d definitely recommend this guest house.

John even played the music videos we asked for in the lounge bar, which made for a fun time. May and John were welcoming and accommodating, the rooms were comfortable and breakfast was nice. My two friends and I all enjoyed our stay, and I’d recommend it.

The freshly cooked full English breakfast came with tea or coffee, and the owners made us feel very welcome. They were friendly and happy to help. John even popped to a local shop when they didn’t have my partner’s drink behind the bar. We’d highly recommend this hotel. Raven and Andrew
