Dan and Will were sociable, helpful hosts, and I had a really positive stay at Selenite Guest House. It was lovely to hear other guests say they’d enjoyed their time there too. The place itself was clean, cosy and comfortable, in a fairly quiet spot where I could sleep, yet close to the town centre, entertainment venues and Stanley Park. Bus and tram stops were nearby too. I’d not been to Blackpool for ages and wanted a break to refresh and recharge. Dan and Will suggested the “Hot Ice” show at Blackpool Pleasure Beach. I wasn’t sure about it, as I’m not an ice skater and hadn’t watched much skating since Torvill & Dean’s Bolero, but I’m glad I went. It was an incredible cabaret style show, with amazingly talented skaters, costume changes, and even backflips, cartwheels and pole dancing. Well worth seeing. Thanks so much, Dan and Will.

We only found Selenite by chance, after a really bad time at another hotel. Danny and William welcomed us so warmly, made us a hot drink, and had a lovely chat with us. It really settled us down, and we felt comfortable straight away. The guest house is unlike anywhere else we’ve stayed. Our room, the angel room, was lovely, clean and comfortable, and we both slept well. Breakfast was full, with delicious homemade bread as an extra treat. Great value and the best hosts in Blackpool. We can’t wait to come back.

Breakfast is amazing, and Danny makes his own bread, jam and marmalade. Everything is super clean, and it’s always a great place to stay. Danny and William are two of the best people you could hope to know. I won’t stay anywhere else when I’m in Blackpool. If people leave bad reviews, they must never have stayed with them, because they’re amazing. I’ll be back next year. Love you both xxxx
