The owner who greeted us was lovely, attentive and very helpful. Our room was quiet, warm and safe, and had everything we needed. The guest house was spotless, tidy and well maintained, and it’s in an excellent location. We’d highly recommend it.

I usually stay in hotels and was a little unsure about trying a guest house, but The Cameo really impressed me. The prices are very reasonable, the location is great, and I can’t think of anything to complain about. Everything was spotless, including the en suite and the comfortable beds with pristine white linen. They followed all the Covid safety measures, which reassured me. I’d definitely return and recommend it to everyone. Worth every penny xx

We had a nice room and a good shower, and everything was very clean and well presented. Our room was at the front, so we could hear people outside at night, but it didn’t bother me. I’d definitely come back.

Breakfast wasn’t available because of Covid 19, but that didn’t spoil our stay. The guest house was spotless and perfectly placed for all the main attractions. Absolutely fantastic, and I’d highly recommend it!

After staying in plenty of places in Blackpool over the years, I strongly disagree with the claim that The Cameo is overpriced. It’s close to many attractions and offers great value for money, in my view one of the best options in central Blackpool. The owner was attentive and very pleasant, breakfast was enjoyable, and the tray of quality complimentary items was fully stocked. There was free WiFi, comfortable beds, superb showers, a first-class TV and plenty of free toiletries. The decor was tasteful inside and out, and everything was immaculate and spotlessly clean. The Cameo deserves its 4-star rating, and I look forward to staying again.
