The Craimar - Guest House

Fantastic breakfast, lovely people and a clean room. I stay here each year for work because the location is so convenient. Highly recommended!

We had a really nice short break here. The room was comfortable and had some thoughtful little touches, and the place was clean for a good price. The welcome was warm and friendly. Our room felt a bit cramped, though most Blackpool rooms are, and the street was noisy during the weekend of the fireworks final. There isn't parking on site, but several car parks are within walking distance. One of the best places we've stayed in a while.

The owner was kind and friendly, and breakfast was delicious with lots to choose from. The rooms are on the small side but extremely clean, and ours had a fridge, iron and ironing board, hairdryer and fan. There's also a bar, though it wasn't open during our stay. Parking nearby was the one drawback, but we had a lovely visit overall.

The staff were welcoming, the location was excellent and the price was good. The room itself was only OK: the duvet and mattress had stains, the duvet also had holes and tears, and it looked as if the room hadn't been dusted in a week or so. The bathroom was clean and tidy, but there were no towels. I didn't realise they'd provide some if asked, so I bought towels at Poundland. Nights were fairly quiet except for late revellers and seagulls at 4am. It was warm, so I had the window open. Breakfast costs extra, and we went to the nearby Spoons instead. I'd probably return if I couldn't find anything else.
