The room fridge was a really useful extra, and the place was peaceful. Parking was hit and miss, but that wasn't the hotel's fault. Jim was so welcoming and friendly, always happy to help. We had a lovely stay with our two dogs.

The room looked nothing like the photos on Booking.com, and the fridge was full of green mould. It all felt like a room from the 1960s, and the place was very dated, more like a B&B than a hotel. We left our keys and booked somewhere else. There was no parking, which was stressful, and the man who let us in was barefoot and looked like he'd just woken up. It didn't feel professional. Sorry, but it wasn't for me. 😐

The hosts were fantastic, and the location was perfect. The hotel itself is great and dog friendly. The room could use a little TLC, maybe just a screwdriver to sort a few things.

We were close to the seaside, and the hotel was quiet. It was a big plus that pets were welcome. The rooms were lovely and very clean, with a handy fridge, and the lady who owns the place was even lovelier. Breakfast was delicious too. I'd strongly recommend it, 5 stars plus.

We had a lovely breakfast the next morning, and the quiet location meant no disturbance overnight. The owner was extremely welcoming, and the facilities had everything we needed. Our room was large and very clean. There's a pub serving meals nearby, along with a pay-as-you-go car park, a local Co-op, cafes, the promenade and a tram stop. It's about a 20-minute walk from North Pier, so it suits you if you don't mind walking and want some peace. We were too busy enjoying our weekend to take photos.
