The location was brilliant, central for everything, and breakfast set us up well for the day. Our rooms were great and the service was superb. Andy and Kathy were so friendly and made the place feel family oriented. Worth staying here, and I’ll definitely be back. Thanks for your hospitality.

The basement bar is great and really kid oriented, and breakfast was absolutely delicious. We’ve just come back from two nights and can’t fault the place. It was the best family room we’ve ever stayed in, with such thoughtful attention to detail that it felt like they’d thought of everything. We’ll definitely book again.

The basement bar was a highlight for us. There’s plenty to keep the kids occupied while the adults enjoy a beer, and the hotel was extremely clean. Andy, Kathy and everyone at the Hurstmere made us feel very welcome, and we had a brilliant time. Breakfast was brilliant too. I liked the tick list they gave us, it saved time and effort in the morning. The Hurstmere is well placed for families, between the Central and South piers, with a pleasant walk and everything fairly close.

Our room was pleasant during the three nights we stayed from 4th May, but breakfast was disappointing. I only saw the host for five minutes, just long enough to make us toast. The reviews mentioned a pool, relaxing bar and entertainment, but we saw none of that, so those reviews seem false. The hosts weren’t chatty at all, and the place was completely empty when we left.

Andy and Kathy were so welcoming and did everything they could for us. The place was very clean and comfortable, with a fab basement bar. We’ve just come back from a short break with our foster children and feel lucky to have found it. Breakfast was amazing and kept us full all day. Kian is lovely and does a great job making sure you have a brilliant breakfast. I’d definitely stay again, and wish we’d stayed longer. 😘
