The Loft Sasco Apartments

After we left, we were charged £44.59 to replace a damaged toaster that we hadn't damaged. It was many years old, and when I said the cleaning team may have done it before we arrived, I got nowhere. The flat already looked tacky and uncomfortable because of a damaged chair arm, which I reported on arrival. We also found the cleanliness and hygiene below standard: lots of dust on all the skirtings, sticky and dirty worktops and floors, and bottles and other rubbish dumped on the small balcony outside the windows. If you expect good hygiene and attention to detail, I wouldn't stay here. Be wary of being charged for damage you didn't cause. My family and I would never stay in a Sasco apartment again.

They kept £940, and we ended up with nothing. We'd booked for 19 people on the first Friday after restrictions were supposed to be lifted. We thought some rules for private events and accommodation had eased. The vendor didn't contact us until I sent the ID they requested through Booking.com. Then they told us no more than two households could use the apartment and threatened to take the full £500 deposit if we didn't follow government guidance. We'd asked for a refund because we couldn't know what would happen with Covid-19, but they refused. We offered to move the booking to a date costing £150 less and let them keep the difference for being reasonable. They declined that too. I'm shocked and appalled by how a company could exploit customers during a global pandemic like this. I honestly wouldn't advise booking here. Please don't waste your time on these people. They have no morals.

The dust was the one real problem, and the cleanliness could definitely be better. Still, we enjoyed the stay and would come back to Blackpool. The interior was pretty chic, the beds comfy, and the large living and dining area worked well for our group of seven, though it can sleep up to 12. The jacuzzi worked properly and was such a nice touch. There's a huge smart TV in the living room with Netflix. The place is in a very good spot, close to the North Pier and shops, with a car park with cameras nearby. The price was pretty good for what we got. 8/10.

The apartments fit all 14 of us comfortably, with space for five more. They were modern and well equipped, and we had a brilliant time celebrating a stag do over the weekend. The location was ideal for exploring the area and the beachfront, just a three minute walk away.
