The room was really cosy, and the person who looked after us was kind and helpful. The trouble was the noise outside: dogs barking through the night, people banging on each other’s doors until 4am, and a rickety washer running all night in the neighbouring house beside our room. The hotel owners can’t control that, but I wish the guests had been more considerate, especially in a place that caters to families.
They gave us a brand new room the day before the official opening and couldn’t do enough for us. The new owners are lovely and so welcoming. They’d only had a baby four weeks earlier, so all the hard work they’d put in was especially commendable. Six stars!
The room was cosy and clean, with new beds and fresh linen. The owners were really friendly. They’ve only recently taken over and have refurbished the place to a good standard. I’d definitely recommend it.
The shower was filthy, covered in hair, and there was disgusting dust everywhere.
