10/10
No breakfast option, which was clear on the booking sites, so that was fine. This is a basic hotel with everything I needed, just right for a good night's sleep. I was at the back of the building on a side road, so it was super quiet. I could hear guests coming and going, which you'd expect, but it wasn't a problem. The owner was very friendly and helpful when I arrived as a first-time visitor. The room was clean and well maintained, with tea and coffee facilities, a comfortable bed, decent shower, towels and a working TV. There was fan heating for when the heating wasn't on. It's a three-minute walk to the beach and about ten minutes to the city centre. It does what it says on the tin, and I'd definitely come back. 100% recommend.

Our first time at this hotel. The room was cosy and very clean, and the bed was really comfortable. The owners were friendly and helpful. We're planning to stay again.

The staff were lovely, and the rooms were very clean with comfy beds. It's not far to walk to the centre, but the hotel is tucked away from a lot of the noise.

The room was really nice and clean, and the hotel had some great facilities. It's handy for families, with a big room that had a dining table and chairs, plus a bar area, pool table, toys and a large leather chair. We could use the microwave too. Highly recommended.

8/10
The bed was reasonably comfortable, the shower was good, and the bathroom looked like it had been redone fairly recently. There was some mould around the bottom, though. The bedroom window wouldn't open, and in the heat that was horrible. The fan was too noisy to leave on. The owner was friendly enough, but the front door was quite hard to open. I'd be okay staying there again for one night. I wanted to give it 3.5. Four might be too generous, but three would be harsh.
