We’ve just got home from our second visit, and this is our favourite place to be. It’s so peaceful and beautiful, just what we needed. The owner really goes all out to give guests the best stay, with lovely little added touches that made ours extra special, plus recommendations for places to visit. The quiet and the stunning views around the area made this such a relaxing place. Sam was wonderful and made us feel very welcome. We made good use of the location this time, booking both pods so our parents could enjoy the comfort and scenery too. It was our fourth visit to foresters Retreat, and we love coming back whenever we can. We were here for the European Rally championship and Rali Ceredigion, and Sam sorted out road closure details, printed maps, vehicle passes and a programme magazine for our arrival. She even made Friday special by letting us watch the action from the pod. There were also the usual fresh eggs and bottle of wine. Sam is a fantastic host who goes above and beyond to make the stay special. We’ll return as soon as we get the chance!

Sam, the owner, was friendly and helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. The pod was well equipped and clean, warm and comfortable. The welcome pack was a thoughtful touch, and the attention to detail was impeccable. We had amazing views across the beautiful Welsh countryside. We’ll definitely come back.
