The house was immaculate and really spacious, and we’d happily stay again. Moira was lovely to deal with, and the place is in a peaceful spot with beautiful views across fields and countryside. It’s also well placed for day trips north and around Perthshire, with plenty of good amenities in Alyth/Blairgowrie.

The pool and table tennis were a great bonus, and the internet was reliable enough for holiday use. We stayed for a short family visit, and this was the most personal, homely holiday home I’ve stayed in. It feels like walking into someone’s house, which made it easy to settle in. There are lots of little details that give it a special feel. I only have two tiny suggestions: a pedal bin would be easier to use and keep clean than the spin-top one, and the main bathroom shower head could be replaced as some of the smaller outlets seem clogged. I’m only mentioning them because I was trying to think of something to improve. It’s a lovely little place, and the owner should be proud.

A brilliant family getaway, with a kids’ games room and a very high standard of finish. The views from the property are stunning. It’s ideal for families who don’t have pets.

My younger brother asked me to visit while he was staying at this wee holiday home. Such a beautiful part of Scotland, and the little village is called Alyth. I hope I get back here one day xx

We’ve just arrived and the place is bloody spotless. We really appreciated the gifts left for us. It’s a stunning house in a nice little town, and the next six days should be a pleasure.
