We’ve had dinner here for the third year running while staying in a nearby cottage, so I can’t comment on the rooms. The food is amazing, especially the vegetarian haggis, and the people are lovely. Service was quick, too. There’s a nice walking trail nearby, and we spotted lots of interesting birds in the area, including an osprey.

We stayed overnight during a biking weekend. The pub has a really warm, friendly atmosphere, and the room was spacious with a comfy bed. After good food and a fair amount of whisky, we slept like logs. It’s in a gorgeous location, too.

We had a great weekend stay while skiing at glenshee. It’s a handy place for skiers to spend the night. The hosts were very accommodating and even dried our soaking wet gear for the next day. The restaurant food was good, and the service there was very good as well.

The place is well located, and everyone was friendly and welcoming. Rooms were warm, and there was a good range of home-cooked food, though check what’s available when booking. Breakfast is help yourself, with enough options to choose from.

A very pleasant New Year stay at Glenisla. The rooms, service and food were first class, and there was good entertainment. The staff went out of their way to make things polite, friendly and informative.
