Riverlea Coach House

We were there from 20-2-2025 to 22-2-2025 during our two-week Scotland trip, and I’d say it was the best place we stayed. He came out to help us get settled when we arrived in the dark and had trouble spotting the place. We also got our washing done, and having two bathrooms was a huge treat. The beds were great, and the living room was comfortable for watching a bit of telly. The kitchen was so well equipped we had everything we needed to cook. There’s a grocery within walking distance, and you should stop at the Ericht Alehouse for the smooth cask ales. I only wish we could have stayed longer, so we’ll have to come back.

A great find. The place was spacious, warm and cosy, with comfortable beds and a well-stocked kitchen. There’s parking set well back from the road, and we didn’t hear any traffic. Shops, bars and restaurants are only minutes away, with a lovely riverside walk right nearby. Maybe we’ll bring the dog next time.

It’s tucked back from the road, so the place is peaceful, and the riverside is right beside it. Cross the bridge and you’re in the town centre. The location works perfectly for everything, and there’s even a little jar of jam left for you, such a nice touch. My mum is from Blairgowrie, and my parents and I came up from England for a family get-together. We stayed two nights and wished we could have made it longer. It was clean and had everything we needed. A beautiful place, and we’ll definitely stay again.

We had a great week at the Coach House. The house was cosy and comfortable, and the location was handy for shops, pubs and walks. It had everything we needed for a good holiday. We’ll definitely book again.
