The cottage itself was lovely, but we were double booked and weren't told plainly. Instead, they tried to sell us an upgrade and fobbed us off with it. The bedrooms didn't suit us as well as those in the cottage we'd booked. The cottage also felt tired, with tatty, worn furniture and equipment. It's a real shame, since more care, attention and a little reinvestment could bring out much more of its potential. We wouldn't choose to return.
