Crown Hotel

Dinner with my colleague was first class, and breakfast was as good as I've had anywhere. There was a good selection, the eggs Florentine were delicious, and even for a coffee snob like me, the espresso really hit the spot. I stayed overnight on a business trip. The room was comfortable and clean, with great plump pillows in thick cotton cases, a good selection of tea and coffee, and reading booklets, a nice touch. All the staff were attentive, friendly and professional. Nothing was too much trouble.

Vince and his team were amazing as always for our very special day today 23/01/2026. Ten of us in my family had a lovely lunch, with fantastic food and excellent service. We love the crown hotel. Vince was unbelievably kind, caring and understanding when my daughter had her celebration of life in October 2025. I can't thank him and the team enough. Keep doing what you're doing, you surpass all expectations. Thank you, Jacqui Sewell.

We stayed at The Crown Hotel on 8-10 November 2025 and had a brilliant time. The room was spotless, comfortable and full of quirky character, with a great bed, a perfect temperature and real coffee bags instead of instant. We ate at the pub both nights, and the food was excellent. Breakfast was just as good. The staff were amazing from the moment we arrived, friendly, helpful and happy to go the extra mile. Reception let us check in early and offered to help with our luggage. Even the night staff were fantastic, opening the door early so I could get something from the car. The team also let us leave our car in the car park after checkout for a nearby appointment. We'd definitely stay again.

Vince deserves a special mention. He couldn't do enough for us. We're vegan, and he sorted out our meals in the evening without any fuss. He was also brilliant with our picky 8-year-old son, finding something the kitchen could prepare so he was well catered for too. Thanks for the wonderful service and for the tips on where to go in New York, we're heading there soon! My family and I have just come back from a fabulous stay at The Crown Hotel in Blandford, where we held my sister-in-law's surprise 50th birthday party in the function room. We had a fantastic time, and the room was excellent. Every member of staff was friendly and helpful. It's a great place to stay, with even more wonderful staff. Thank you.
