Breakfast had a great choice, from Continental options to Full English, all made with very good local produce. The room, bathroom and house were spotlessly clean. Sue and Ray were friendly and welcoming, and their fabulous house sits in quiet countryside with beautiful views. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone travelling to Cornwall. Ray and Sue were warm and welcoming, as my 13-year-old daughter already said, and I especially enjoyed chatting with Ray after he cooked us a wonderful breakfast. The beds were all comfortable, including the kids' beds, and it was lovely to eat our fish and chips outside in the garden. Sue and Ray clearly take care to make guests feel comfortable and relaxed. For anyone driving into Cornwall, the location is useful: compared with staying near st Ives or Penzance, you'd save another 90 minutes of driving. It's a good base for exploring, with several beaches within a 15-minute drive. Maybe it was the pandemic, but I'd suggest planning dinner ahead and booking. I can see why Brookfields has so many positive reviews. We'd definitely return if we visited Cornwall again. Thanks, Sue and Ray, for your hospitality.

The grounds are beautiful, and breakfast was great. We’ve stayed in plenty of lovely B&Bs around the UK, but this one is now our favourite. The owners were so kind, and the room and facilities went well beyond what we expected. Ruby and Reg were an extra treat, both dogs are adorable and very friendly, and we loved them. Thanks to you both for such warm hospitality. We’ll almost certainly be back, and I’d recommend it without hesitation. Graeme, Ivy and Sophie.

The stables gave us loads of room to roam, with lovely views across the fields, and it was quiet and good value. We hired the self-contained three-room conversion, which was very well equipped. The Wi-Fi worked well, though the internet connection was unstable. I was surprised there wasn’t a microwave, since everything else was as you’d expect.
