We had such a lovely first visit to Ruthern Valley, staying in a Megapod for three nights. Andrew and the team were so helpful and kindly accommodated our later than advertised arrival. It's a lovely spot, tucked away but still not too far from civilisation. We left feeling relaxed and refreshed, though sad to go, and we're already looking at booking another stay later in the year. One suggestion: a wifi booster or separate router in the pods would help. The wifi and phone signal are very weak at the top end of the site.

We had such a warm, cosy stay in the Mega-Pod, tucked among the trees. It was quiet apart from the sounds of nature, with owls calling just outside. The shower near the pod was decent, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the price was great. This has become my favourite place, and I'll definitely be back. ❤️

A refreshing place to stay, with great hosts and a tucked away setting. It worked brilliantly for our family of five. The cabins were cosy and clean, with wifi, comfy beds and all the kitchen gear we needed. The kids struggled to make sense of the analog TV! It's only 30 minutes from the north coast and a handy base for getting around. We're 100% going back.

We found this cabin as a last minute deal for our family of four and weren't disappointed. It was clean and had everything we needed for the week, with comfy beds and a real home from home feel. The location was excellent for exploring different parts of Cornwall. A great perk was being able to hire wetsuits and body boards from them, much cheaper than hiring at the beach. They also had bike hire. The kids loved the park and watching the chickens. A real gem.

The whole site was wonderful, with separate little pockets for camping, RVs, trailer tents and caravans, as well as lodges and pods that looked great. It's secluded and well maintained, so don't hesitate to book if that's what you're after. You won't be disappointed. We picked this site because they don't allow dogs, which is a must for us as our daughter is autistic. We contacted them beforehand to explain and ask for a quiet spot if possible. They were welcoming and very accommodating, and gave us a lovely sheltered pitch. We can't recommend the site enough.
