We stayed for a birthday weekend and had a splendid time. The food was superb, especially the Sunday roast, and the drinks were excellent. Thanks to Tim and the team for everything. Highly recommended, though I wish it were close enough to walk to!

We were offered a larger table as soon as one became available, and the staff were great. The Christmas menu was limited, but the smaller portion was still perfectly fine for an adult. The food was excellent, especially the Yorkshire puddings, and there was a lovely atmosphere in the traditional pub. There’s a large car park, and dogs are welcome in the bar area.

The road to the Crown Inn is a bit narrow, but there’s plenty of parking. We were lucky to have sunshine and enjoyed a drink in the pretty beer garden. The pub is quaint, with low beams, and the Sunday lunch was really nice, with loads of beef and assorted veg. Well worth a visit.

We had a big group there for a friend’s birthday weekend, and the pub handled it brilliantly. Landlord Tim couldn’t do enough for us, and his team were friendly, attentive and always smiling. Excellent ale and top-quality food made it a perfect country pub. I hope to come back, if only it weren’t a three-and-a-half-hour drive from home.

We stayed overnight in our campervan after a Saturday party and loved the friendly vibe. The Crown is a little gem, with excellent food and staff. Tim works so hard to make sure everything’s right. The pub opened for breakfast the next day, and we had a yummy roast. We’ll be back.
