Premier Inn Bognor Regis

The beds really are comfortable, and there’s a choice of pillows. We had a good-sized room at a great price, and the staff were excellent. We stayed for two nights while visiting family in the area. The attached pub serves food, and its menus looked very reasonable, with unlimited breakfast options. Highly recommended for this kind of hotel.

The hotel is old and knackered, though clean. Breakfast was actually cooked for you rather than the usual rubbish, but at weekends it doesn’t start until 8am, so don’t pay extra if you need to leave for work at normal hours. There’s no phone signal. Free WiFi is 2meg, and I paid for the £5-a-night premium WiFi, which was 4meg, basically old dial-up speed. I paid £300 for three nights and asked the desk lady for a premium WiFi voucher. That’s normally no problem at the many Premier Inns I stay in, but she basically said I didn’t deserve one. First time I’ve ever left a review for anything.

The room wasn’t too bad and the service was okay. The WiFi, though, is unacceptable. I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you need to keep in touch with family, since even immigrants on boats have a better signal than this hotel. The WiFi manager should get it fixed as soon as possible.

The rooms were lovely and clean, and the staff were so friendly. We arrived late, but the team were still happy to serve us food and drinks and made us feel very welcome. This will be our stop next time we visit our daughter at uni.
