It had been nine years since we last came, but the service was still very good, even with the staff run off their feet. We were celebrating a birthday and weren’t in a hurry, so the delays didn’t bother us. Diaz, our lovely waitress, kept apologising whenever something was held up or went wrong. We’re locals and didn’t stay overnight, though I often see how busy the place gets with weddings and the like. We won’t leave it so long before coming back. Well done, team.

The restaurant service was good and the food excellent. I had liver and onions, and breakfast is served too. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a good spot for Bognor. Rooms feel dated, but they’re comfortable, and it can get a bit noisy when there’s a wedding or birthday.

The menu has loads of choice, and the restaurant staff are great at answering questions about the dishes. Some of the staff are friendly and welcoming too. I always book ahead in case there aren’t any tables. I still haven’t tried the carvery, but the staff say it fills up very quickly, so I’ll book for that. This is one of my favourite places to eat, and I really can’t fault it.

We held our son’s wedding reception here and it was fantastic. The bespoke afternoon tea was a perfect 10/10, with everything we requested and more. The staff were pleasant, efficient, and did all they could for us. No negatives from us. Thank you, Phil and the team.

We had a lovely time with such friendly guests, but it ended badly. They accused us of smoking in the room, which we did not do, and charged us € 100. In the end we settled, and they took a bit off the £ 50 breakfast charge. What a pity.
