The location worked well for the Pleasure Beach and Sandcastle Water Park, but that was the only plus. Flat 1 was damp and very smelly, with carpets that didn't fit the room, broken woodwork around the patio doors and windows, and dirt throughout. I contacted Jennie, who moved us to flats 6 & 7. They were slightly better, but not by much. One night was quite expensive, though I wouldn't have minded if the apartments had matched the nice photos. They don't look like those pictures now, which is very misleading. The photos suggest a home-from-home, and that wasn't our experience. I really didn't enjoy the stay, and neither did my children. Please make the flats look like the photos or replace the pictures with how they look now, so customers aren't misled.

The studio is a nice, modern little apartment, and the location is good for the Pleasure Beach. Having a small car park is great too. The mattress and pillows really let it down, though. I could feel every spring in the mattress, and the flat pillows gave no support. I woke up sore. If they fixed that, we'd definitely use Rock salt studios for our yearly Blackpool weekend.

The studio apartment suited us and our two kids perfectly, and the location was great. We couldn't connect to the WiFi, though. Parking is a very tight squeeze, but once you're parked, it's fine. I'd recommend it for a Blackpool stay and would definitely come back.

We were close to the rides, which was great, and the host responded when we got in touch. The property itself was disappointing, though. The online photos didn't match what we found: cupboard and door handles needed fixing, and there was a damp smell in the hall and kitchen. The radiators switched off on their own, so we weren't warm. Parking at the back is tight too, and we had to ask a neighbour to move their car so we could get out. Great for the Pleasure Beach location, but that's about it.

The room was lovely and the location was brilliant. I hadn't mentioned that I'm 62 and have a disability, so I was assigned top-floor room 6. It took me quite a while to get up the stairs, going up on my bottom.
