We stayed for one night after taking a detour from the NC500. It’s a great place to visit, and I only wish I’d had longer. Since it was Sunday and nowhere was open for food, the owner kindly let me heat a ready meal in their microwave. The room was spacious and had a great view, and the vegetarian breakfast was excellent. The owner even added an extra vegetarian slice. They also knew the area and local points of interest really well, which was helpful. I’d definitely stay again.
