We spent the night here for our anniversary break in Cardigan, and it was a lovely, dog-friendly B&B in Abercych. There’s just one guest room, so the stay feels very personal. Our room had its own little terrace garden, and the en-suite was surprisingly spacious. Behind the room, steps lead up to a beautiful terraced garden with stunning views. Before arriving, we’d spent the day at Poppit Sands Beach. We then walked a few minutes to the Nags Head for a meal, sitting outside by the river with our dogs. Breakfast the next morning was amazing, just for the two of us, and the food was perfect. We’re off to Ffynone Waterfall for a few hours this morning and will enjoy some local walks with the dogs. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Cam and her husband were so welcoming that they felt more like friends than hosts. Breakfast was outstanding, and nothing seemed like too much trouble. The B&B is fully self-contained and beautifully done, and the fabulous Nags Head Pub is within walking distance. It was such a calm, charming place to stay. I'm already looking for an excuse to return. 100% recommend ❤️

I was looking forward to checking in, but after one night I left disappointed. The rooms were dirty and the bed was uncomfortable. I had no real interest in, or awareness of, Welsh culture. The surrounding area is lovely, which makes it a shame that the place itself let us down.

I expected a hotel, but was pleasantly surprised to find a beautiful cottage in a lovely village, away from everything. Camille was a very pleasant, welcoming host, and the room felt like home from the moment I arrived. There was cold water and milk in the fridge, plus tea, coffee and biscuits. I had dinner at the Nags Head, which is within walking distance, but that's another story. Breakfast was delicious: fruit salad and yoghurt, fresh coffee, toast and butter with marmalade. It was all homemade, none of the prepared stuff you get in big hotel chains. Credit to my host for welcoming me into her home.

Cam is incredibly sweet, and the B&B was even better than it looked in the photos. The room was warm enough even for me, and my dog was welcome too, with treats for him. That woollen blanket was divine. And the breakfast? I don't have the words for how good it was. 10/10, best B&B ever!
