We came as four families and had plenty of room to sit down for dinner together, so it worked really well for a group getaway. The place is exceptionally clean and well kept, with warm, welcoming staff. You can hear the sea and enjoy the ebb tide, and there's a lovely walking path nearby. Parking is close, and you can drive right up to the hostel to unload your luggage.

We rented the whole place for a long weekend, and it was a lovely setting for getting together. There are plenty of beds, a large kitchen, and a beautiful building in lovely surroundings. It's self-service, with a well-equipped kitchen, so bring food or choose from the good selection of nearby pubs. Parking is in the village, but you can drop things off first and sort out parking remotely. Just leave the place as you'd expect to find it.

Cathy, our hostel host, was really friendly and went out of her way to help. This delightful little youth hostel is at the end of a very quiet road. The kitchen has great facilities, the lounge is beautiful, and there are games and books to use. Everywhere was very clean, and the showers were nice and hot. The bedrooms were okay. My one small complaint was the green emergency light in the bedroom, which was a bit too bright and affected our sleep. I'd definitely visit again if I'm in the area.

Boscastle is a characterful little town with good food and breathtaking views, and the hostel sits right where the river meets the sea. It was really clean and the beds were very comfortable. Such an amazing place. I'll be back.

The shared bathroom and shower were the cleanest I've seen in a hostel. Our room had big windows looking out over the water, and the building itself is lovely. I spent one night here and was very impressed. I'd stay again!
