The food was very nice, the service was great, and the hotel is really nice. The drinks were good too. If I had one fault, it would be that they could be quicker to notice empty glasses and ask if you'd like another drink.

I'm here regularly for business and have never had an issue. It's excellent value for money. The lovely lady upgraded my single room to a double and suggested I try the food next time, which I will. Tx.

I was disappointed with the room during my stay this week. There was a large dressing table, but no nearby socket for the hairdryer. The kettle was next to the bed, and the double socket was at the end of a fridge, with a radiator blocking one side. I had to unplug the fridge to use my hairdryer. The bathroom was falling off the bath, and there was no soap in the hand dispenser by the sink.

The food and atmosphere were really nice, and it wasn't overpriced. The meat was local, from the butchers next door.

The staff work really hard and always make us feel welcome, whether we come in for food or a drink, even at short notice. The service is fast and consistently good. They've never let us down. Five stars for the staff and service. I always love coming here.
