The service was amazing and the bed was really comfortable. The rooms could do with quite a bit of updating, but all in all we had a really good stay and would definitely come back.

We had a really enjoyable stay and will definitely return. It's amazing value for money, in a great location near lots of bars. The staff were really friendly and great with kids. The general manager was very nice, and Luke is an asset to the company.

We were there for a family meal and couldn't get into Spyglass & Kettle, but this place had the same menu. The setting was good, with big windows looking out over the sea, and it was quiet. I'm not usually a big chain pub fan, but they did a great job: all four of us thought the food was very good. A mix-up caused by other customers moving led to a small delay, which could happen anywhere. The way the staff handled it was absolutely the best. Strongly recommend. It looks average from outside, but it isn't 😁

We paid £65 a night for room 6, and that corner sea view from bed was incredible. The room was clean and well equipped, and the person at reception was so welcoming and helpful. We'll come back and would recommend giving it a try. The building and corridors look a little dated, and could use a new sign and some paint here and there, though it wasn't a serious issue. The room did get very hot, and the road was noisy early in the morning, but neither was a big problem.
