Cransley By The Sea Rooms

There was plenty of seating and tables in the peaceful garden out back, and parking right at the front. Check-in was very easy, with electronic keypads on all the doors. The Aparthotel has been beautifully refurbished to a high standard and was spotless. The kitchen had everything we needed, and both the bed and sofa bed were really comfortable. It was an ideal spot for a relaxing mini break. I'd highly recommend it and will definitely stay again.

Room 7 was lovely for my three nights. The kitchenette made life easier with my early starts and late finishes, so I didn't have to go out for breakfast. The bed was clean and very comfortable, and the place was exceptionally clean. Getting in with the door codes was easy. I did miss having a tea towel and a couple of coasters, as I was worried about marking the furniture.

The location worked well as a base for lots of different trips around Dorset, and our room was stylish with everything we needed. Simon and Jonathan's home is beautiful and elegant. They made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived, and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was cooked just right, with plenty to eat and drink. Thanks for your hospitality, Simon and Jonathan. We had a wonderful stay.

We arrived for our reservation at 9pm and found the room hadn't been cleaned. When we called, their first response was to ask us to send a picture, saying that was the only way to tell the cleaning staff. There was no apology or immediate action. We waited an hour and nothing changed, so we had to find somewhere else to stay.
