Lena and her husband were lovely hosts, very welcoming and ready to help with anything. My room was spacious, airy, well equipped, and immaculately clean and tidy, although the decor isn’t the most modern. Having a fridge in the room was a bonus. It’s a great spot for the BIC and the beach, both about 6-7 minutes away on foot. I’d happily stay again.

Handy location and fine for a last-minute stop, but expensive for what you get. The room and bathroom were clean, though fairly utilitarian. There were bunk beds for the kids, and dogs are welcome. Saturday night was very noisy.

Good value and well placed for both the town centre and seafront. The owner even let me charge my electric car, and our Chihuahua enjoyed the stay too.

We’ve spent a few nights at Dolphins Hotel and it already feels like home for me and my family. The hospitality is superb, intimate and subtle, with a lovely family-friendly feel. We’re close to everywhere we want to go and everything we want to do. When we’re back in Bournemouth, we won’t miss this great place for anything else.

We only booked a weekend, but enjoyed the whole stay. The owners were a delight, and the service and breakfast were great. It’s only about a five-minute walk to the beach and town centre. Parking in front of the hotel was available, but bear in mind it’s by request.
