Kat, the reception manager, handled a concern I raised after getting home quickly and professionally. Her response made me feel the hotel cared about guests. I also found the Hilton comfortable and well located for getting around, and the spa was a welcome way to unwind after a long day. I had a really good stay and would come back. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a solid place to stay.

We had a comfortable, well-equipped room, and the balcony was a nice extra, though it had no chairs or other seating. The hotel also has a pool and spa. Dinner was great, and the cocktails at the end made for a lovely evening. Dinner and breakfast service were excellent. The receptionist gave amazing customer service when we checked out.

Lauren made our evening meal a real highlight. Her service was outstanding, and she's lovely with guests. That night was wonderful, and she deserves special commendation. My five stars are thanks to Lauren. The next morning was awkward. I had an early ferry to France and had warned reception the night before that I hoped to have continental breakfast at 6:30. Reception and the kitchen said that was fine, but breakfast isn't normally served until 7. The breakfast team seemed caught by surprise, and a staff member said it would stress the chefs. The lady with glasses working Friday, 8th May, didn't even say good morning, though I heard what else she said about me. I'd give Lauren a pay rise and that morning staff member a P45.

Olivia at reception earned the five stars. She was amazing when I called ahead to arrange things, then sorted out the slightly mixed-up billing for our three rooms in person. She even arranged a later checkout so we could enjoy the spa on my daughter's birthday. Super kind, incredible service. The location was good and the rooms were nice, too.
