The Living Room

This place is tucked away on its own in a residential area, yet it's really close to the beach. We got a warm welcome when we arrived, though the place was full and we had to sit outside. Luckily the weather was sunny, so that worked out well. The service was friendly and good. I enjoyed the cooked breakfast, especially the menu's own spin on the dishes. The tables and chairs, though, are old and rusty and need replacing with something more comfortable. I don't mean the fashionable vintage look, either.

Breakfast was so good that I'd rank it among the best I've had. Everything we ordered was delicious, the choices were spot on, and there were options I've never seen at much pricier places. The coffee was good too, and there were plenty of staff around to help. We may have mixed up our arrival time, but the friendly staff reassured us and made room for us anyway. The building didn't look like much from outside, but inside has an antique style. There's also a pleasant outdoor area that catches the sun in the late morning. I'll be back.

The gluten-free options were a big plus, and the staff were friendly and very accommodating. We were visiting friends in Alum Chime and came over for brunch, which we really enjoyed. We'd happily return, and if we needed somewhere to stay, this would be our first choice. Thanks so much.
