The hosts made us feel welcome straight away, showing us around and staying available for drinks or questions. We had a quiet drink in the garden on our first evening, and the residents' lounge and well stocked bar were nice to have. The room was lovely, with a comfortable bed, dark curtains and a warm, powerful shower. Tea and coffee, including decaf, and a flask of fresh milk were appreciated. Breakfast was delicious, hot and well cooked. We normally choose self catering, but the White Cottage might change that for us. A very positive stay.

We stayed two nights at the White Cottage and I was really happy with it. The room was spacious, very clean and had everything I needed. The people running it were great and looked after me well, including serving very tasty breakfasts. Its central location makes it handy for everything. A B&B done just right.

Colyton felt like a friendly, welcoming village, and I'd happily stay here again. Steve and Donna were lovely hosts, so friendly and accommodating. The room was beautiful, with crisp bedding and a comfortable bed and pillows, and breakfast was a really nice cooked one. I'd strongly recommend it.

The garden was amazing, and the traditional thatched cottage was lovely. Our room was clean, and breakfast was spot on with plenty to choose from. Steve and Donna were amazing hosts, flexible, helpful and friendly. The location was perfect, with a nice local pub and friendly locals. We had a great time at the White cottage.
