The farm is lovely to explore, and one of the family gave us a brilliant tour where we could watch the cows being milked. The place is a great setup for kids, with indoor and outdoor toys and a well-built little play area outside, including a mini castle. There’s a big kitchen with an Aga that helps heat downstairs and is great for cooking, plus a table where around 15 of us could have breakfast. It’s well equipped overall, though the oven and dishwasher weren’t very good, and there’s surprisingly little counter space for such a large kitchen. The building itself is wonderful, and the location is good, even if the winding country lanes are mostly single track. Go there, just not when we want to!

Splitting the week’s cost between four families made this feel like good value, even though it seems expensive at first. The farm tours are excellent, and there’s a great gallery where you can watch the cows being milked. Andrew and Sally were welcoming and helpful throughout. The farmhouse has plenty of space for a big family group, with a large kitchen and good-sized bedrooms. Little kids have a perfect enclosed play area on the property. We had a brilliant holiday.

Three generations had a fantastic family holiday here. There was loads of room, and it was so warm that we were in T-shirts despite bringing our woollies. A lovely place to make memories, and we’ll be back xxxx
