Nauman Tariq at reception was a warm, helpful host, and when we needed milk for our toddler late at night, he kindly sorted it out. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the customer service made our stay especially enjoyable. We stayed for one night over the bank holiday weekend. Traveling with a toddler can be stressful, but the location was great, and the hotel was clean, comfortable and peaceful. We're planning to return, and I highly recommend it.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, definitely five stars for them. The hotel is nice, but I found it a little overrated. The rooms and corridors need updating because they have the feel of student accommodation.

The staff were so friendly and happy to help with anything. Mum and I really enjoyed afternoon tea here. There were plenty of tasty sandwiches, and the cakes were fresh, homemade and delicious. We’d definitely come back.

The room was clean, cosy and decent, with a coffee machine, iron, wardrobe and a bathtub. There’s no Netflix, though you can borrow board games to take to your room. The food area was cosy, and the welcome was warm and hospitable. My family and I felt comfortable.

We only wish we’d stayed at this hotel instead of the other one we chose, which wasn’t nearly as nice. We came here for afternoon tea and loved it. The place is beautifully decorated and easy to park at. The food and service were very good, and nothing was too much trouble. The homemade scones were warmed in the oven, which made them much nicer than cold, shop-bought ones.
