4 Lansdown Cottages

We had a really enjoyable night in the boutique quarters. The room was too hot when we arrived, even with the radiator on its lowest setting, and took a while to cool with the window open. It could have been bigger, though the bathroom was a good size. The mini fridge was noisy and I'd have liked a larger one. Staff were helpful and friendly at check-in, and they'd put out a birthday card, flowers and bunting, a lovely touch. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, especially the sausage, and we didn't have to order the night before. I'd have liked more on the plate, perhaps black pudding, for the price, as one of everything wasn't quite enough. Still, it was a great start to the day and the service was excellent. Special thanks to Carmel, the supervisor, who personally went above and beyond when we couldn't find a taxi to or from a local destination. We'd love to return if we're in the area again.

We found a room late on a Monday evening, at the last minute, and although the front desk was already closed, the property manager helped us check in quickly and easily. The room was cosy, with a garden view, a comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom. There was plenty of parking, too, and the main area of Bourton was only a quick stroll away. We had a wonderful time enjoying the sights and sounds of Bourton and would definitely stay again.

Corrine was a delight, and breakfast was superb. We had a wonderful weekend at the Oakey cottage, which was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen. It's in an incredible location for exploring Cotswold. They'd even put up a Christmas tree for our arrival, such a thoughtful touch. We'll definitely be back!

The rooms were spotless and comfortable, the staff were lovely, and breakfast was great. There's parking, and town is only five to ten minutes away on foot. We had an enjoyable stay. Thank you all.
