We booked three days but left the next morning after a sleepless night, and they refused to refund us. Black bugs were coming from the bathrooms into the bedrooms and kitchen, which was really unpleasant on a holiday. The owner said they were harmless and that this was normal. Mice may be harmless too, but you still don’t want them in your home. Booking.com wasn’t helpful either, and I won’t book through them again. DO NOT BOOK!!! This place felt like a scam and was really unhygienic.

The kids were too scared to sleep because bugs came out during the night, so they ended up in the living room. We told the owner, who said she’d sort something out, but nothing changed. We left the next morning after just one night of our three-night booking, and they weren’t willing to refund us. A horrendous experience, and not somewhere I’d choose for a family.

The living room was very comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The hot tub was great too. But every day there were dead and live bugs on the floor in the en-suite bedroom, and the shower needs updating. The main room light didn’t work, and we couldn’t change the bulb. The bedroom furniture was dated. When we arrived, the garden furniture cushions were soaking wet and dirty, so we couldn’t use them.

The place was okay, but the hot tub was only 26 degrees, so we couldn’t use it. Would’ve been better if it had been up to temperature. 👍
