Cherry Orchard Lodge

We stayed in the Sunset room, which was clean, spacious and had a lovely view. Rosie recommended some excellent pubs, and we enjoyed the food at The George and Longs Arms. Her two rescue horses are gorgeous, and you should ask her about the amazing work she does with them. Lola, the feral cat, is the sweetest, most affectionate little soul and dribbled with joy whenever she got a cuddle or fuss. Baxter the spaniel is more cautious at first, but enjoys a fuss and a game once he's checked you out. All the animals add to the homely feel. Rosie is a wonderful hostess, and we'll be back. We had three lovely breakfasts during our most peaceful three-day stay in beautiful countryside. It's a short drive to Bath from Bradford on Avon, so convenient for sightseeing in Bath. A lovely spot in a perfect location.

Honestly, just lovely. Couldn't recommend it more.

The Sunset Suit was lovely, clean and spacious, with a beautiful view over the farm. The bed was comfortable, and I loved the roll-top bath. Friendly service and a beautiful house all round. Breakfast tasted great, though the portion was a little small. We had a lovely stay and would definitely book again.

If you're looking for a break from noise, phone reception and internet signal, with lovely views, this is a good choice. We got a very warm, friendly greeting, announced by their dog. The house and room could have been a bit warmer at first, even though an extra heater and blankets were there when we arrived. Breakfast was available at whatever time we wanted and was very nice, though things were more organised on the first morning.
