Cherry Tree Guesthouse

In a quiet village, with a good pub for dinner just a five-minute walk away, this B&B is easy to recommend. Cherie made us feel welcome and was attentive throughout our three-night stay. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was great, whether cooked or continental.

Cherry was lovely and helpful, giving us ideas for places to go and making sure we had everything we needed. We enjoyed our two-night stay and only wished we could have stayed longer. The room was nicely decorated, with a big comfy bed. Bradford on Avon is close, and Bath is only a few miles away. There's a big drive for parking, so you can leave the car and catch the bus to Bath just outside the B&B. We got a great deal booking direct. Cherie made arranging the booking easy, even though the person organising it wasn't one of the guests. We needed beds for a couple of motorcyclists after filling a local hotel with our larger group, and picked The Cherry Tree because of its strong reviews. It lived up to them: clean, modern, spacious accommodation that has everything to itself. I can see why it gets five stars.

The king room was a good size, and the bed was really comfortable. I did wish there were different cups or mugs to choose from, maybe in the dining area, and you had to ask for fresh milk. Also, why does black mould in the shower turn up in so many places to stay?
