We paid about £60 for a double room, number 6 on the ground floor. It was a reasonable stay for the price, and we got the large ground-floor room we'd asked for. The bathroom, bedroom, seating area and walk-in wardrobe were all spacious. The bed linen was fresh and good quality, and the 11 am checkout suited us. The location was why we chose the hotel. It was about five minutes from the function at Moorside Church and the Manor golf club, and Prashad was also five minutes away. We weren't expecting anything swanky. Check-in was dreadful: the receptionist couldn't find our booking and asked to see the confirmation, then proof of payment. It took about 20 minutes before the reservation was suddenly found. There was an odd smell, the double bed was very small, and the TV was in the bedroom rather than the seating area. The bathroom sealant was mouldy, and the shower head seemed to do what it wanted. When we checked out, there was nobody at reception to give feedback to.

The reception is staffed around the clock, which helped me feel secure as a young woman travelling alone. The room was spotless, nicely presented and very comfortable, and the hotel and grounds looked well cared for. Staff were welcoming, professional and attentive from the moment I arrived. Ali and the rest of the team were friendly and helpful every time I dealt with them. I was told when booking that the bar and restaurant were closed for renovations, which was no problem. The hotel has recently changed management, and I had a wonderful stay. I'll definitely return and recommend it to friends and family. Thank you to the whole team for making it so enjoyable.

We spent three weeks at this hotel and would gladly stay again. Ali was kind, attentive to detail and dedicated to making sure guests were happy. He was welcoming and professional, always there when we needed help, and went the extra mile to keep everything comfortable and hassle-free. His hospitality made our stay enjoyable. The rooms at Tong Park Hotel were consistently clean and well maintained, and parking was easy and convenient. Extra pillows, bottles of water or help with a key card were never too much trouble. It's a beautiful place with striking architecture and lots of history. Ali was warm and professional from the moment I arrived, and made sure things ran smoothly. Lukka was also thoughtful, dependable and attentive, taking care of every request. Both went above and beyond, and their service made the stay a genuine pleasure. I'll definitely be back.

I came to Tong Park Hotel Marquee as a bride feeling stressed and overwhelmed, but the team took care of everything and helped me feel calm. They were welcoming, kind and supportive the whole way through, and nothing seemed like too much trouble. Thanks to their organisation, professionalism and attention to detail, my nikkah event went smoothly. I'm so grateful for how they looked after me on such an important day. I'd highly recommend them to any bride who wants to enjoy her event without all the stress.
