Niche Water Tower Apartments

The one thing we appreciated was the secure gated entrance. Otherwise, our stay at “woodpecker” was a big letdown, and we wouldn't return. The property may be described as a newer build, but the upkeep and attention to detail fell short. Having read the other reviews, it seems these issues have been ongoing and left unaddressed. Our room had white blinds that let the light in, despite the listing promising blackout blinds. The TV had no working channels, and the kitchen was short on basics: no tea towel or oven glove, no oil despite being told it was provided, and the utensils were blunt and very worn. The cleaning also seemed limited to the basics, with no sign of the advertised monthly deep clean. Both showers had problems. One was dirty, and the other had no shower head on the upper part, so water just poured out. Its temperature control swung between scalding and freezing, and the faulty door seal let water leak out. The photos were misleading too: only about seven of the roughly 40 listing pictures matched the property we stayed in. One showed a hot tub, which we complained had been taken out. Construction noise nearby started early and was louder than we expected, even though building work was mentioned in the listing. Our neighbours also parked their cars in our driveway throughout the stay.

The apartment was clean, and I really liked where it was. Had a great stay and would book it again.

Martyn and his team were helpful, and the properties were good. I'd happily come back as a customer when I need somewhere again.

A really nice, clean apartment, and my two sons loved having so much space. There are plenty of shops close by. The balcony has a fabulous view of the sun setting when the weather allows, so it's a lovely spot to sit. Five stars.
