Breakfast was brilliant and clearly made with quality ingredients. The beds were so good, second only to my own, and the rooms were comfortable. We had a lovely stay at Ty Helyg. Christine and Dafydd were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. We’ve found our new home from home for visits to family in Brecon.

This was our second visit, and once again it was a great place to stay near the centre of Brecon. Christine gave us good advice about local trips, and the room was great. The breakfasts were superb too. I’d recommend Ty Helyg to anyone visiting Brecon. Tony and Sue.

Right in the centre of Brecon, this is a lovely place to stay. It’s full of character and a bit quirky, and the host went out of their way to help us. I’d definitely recommend it.

The guest lounge is small, with comfortable chairs and an honesty bar, a nice spot to sit with a book for a while. The bed was comfortable, and everything was spotlessly clean. Christine was an excellent host and nothing was too much trouble. We had a lovely weekend in Brecon at Ty Helyg, and breakfast was excellent with plenty of options for different tastes.

Christine was so kind and accommodating during our three-night stay at this beautiful guest house. Breakfast was always yummy, whether we had her delicious compote and yogurt or a fry-up. The beds were warm, clean and super comfortable. We’ll be back, no doubt!
