Novotel London Brentford

The Indian female and male reception staff deserve a special thank you. They were welcoming, attentive, and went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. I work as a receptionist at an Accor hotel in the Netherlands, so I know how demanding the job can be, and I really appreciated how well they looked after me. They’re a great example of how it should be done. I travel to London quite regularly and can be pretty critical of hotels, but this stay exceeded my expectations. Everything ran smoothly, the hotel was clean and well maintained, and the atmosphere was pleasant. I used my Heartist rate at Novotel London Brentford, and it’s now my go-to for future London trips. Highly recommended if you want somewhere reliable and welcoming. Thanks again for a fantastic stay.

South Ealing underground station is an easy 15 min walk away, with the Picadully line taking you straight into Central London. The hotel felt welcoming and clean, and our family room had plenty of space. The fridge was handy, and the room was well soundproofed with good blackout curtains, so it was peaceful. The one thing I’d change is the bathroom’s privacy glass. If you switch on the light at night, it lights up the whole room. I’d much rather have a normal wall, since there’s no need to see between the bathroom and bedroom. Breakfast was great, with loads of hot and cold choices and an amazing range of gluten free options. The children loved the pancake machine.

The room and hotel were modern, clean, and comfortable, with pretty much everything we needed. The mattress was softer than I like, though, and the toilet and shower were fine. Breakfast was a perfectly acceptable buffet in a nice modern space. We paid £99 via Secret Escapes for bed and breakfast, which was great value, plus £15 to park for 24 hours. Check-in took a while because they couldn’t find our booking. This is the second time that’s happened with Novotel, though they did upgrade us to an Executive Room. The location is a bit puzzling. Brentford football stadium is walkable, but there’s not much else around beyond flats and housing. There’s a Sainsburys Local and a coffee shop nearby, and McDonalds is a 10 min walk. No tube or train stations nearby. The hotel suited our needs, so we’d happily return.

We stayed at Novotel London Brentford from 30.12.25 until 02.01.26, and it was a comfortable, relaxing visit for my mom and me. The area felt very safe, which mattered to us, and was convenient too, with a bus stop and store just around the corner. Heathrow Airport is about 30 minutes away. The room was clean and well maintained, and the sauna was great. We liked the pool, though it could have been warmer for one advertised as a warm pool. Breakfast had plenty of variety and was very good. Staff were friendly, helpful, and professional, and made us feel welcome. We’d definitely stay again, and would recommend it to families or anyone looking for a calm hotel with good connections in London.
