Stayed for two nights. A very nice place, clean, and decorated really nicely.

Linda had left fresh milk and some breakfast bits, so we could make tea and coffee without rushing off to the supermarket. The cottage is spotlessly clean, with thoughtful homely touches, and its contemporary, stylish decor works well with the old building. There’s also a small, cute garden at the back. The road up is very steep, which is the only slight downside and can’t really be helped. It wouldn’t put me off coming back. Thanks for your hospitality.

It’s been a few months since we stayed, but the place made such a lasting impression. It felt like a home away from home, and the hosts were lovely and quick to respond. Exceptionally clean throughout too. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a stay in Wales x

My family and I spent a weekend at the Brigend house so we could meet long-lost family. It gave us the privacy to have relatives over and enjoy proper time together, and it was just right for what we needed. The house was clean and nicely decorated, with each room thoughtfully set up. There were plenty of fresh towels, extra pillows and bedding. The bathroom was very clean and well equipped, with toilet rolls and a good supply of toiletries. The kitchen had everything needed to cook and clean up, even cooking oil and ketchup I’d forgotten to bring. Linda had left a surprise basket of crumpets, jam and butter for breakfast, plus milk in the fridge. We bumped into Linda as we were leaving. She was lovely, and it was nice to tell her in person how much we’d enjoyed the house and our time in Bridgend. My husband left his jacket behind, and Linda promised to send it on. Thanks to Linda and the team for a great place to stay. We’ll look at their other properties in future. Maria and Vince

Everything was spotless and comfortable, with useful extras in case you’ve forgotten something. The facilities were excellent, and there’s parking across the road. You can walk into town at an easy pace. It worked really well for me and my friend Jackie, whether for business, family or a bit of leisure. Highly recommend, and I’d come back. Excellent 👌
