A lovely pub tucked away by the canal, with good food and generous portions. It was red hot, and the landlord and landlady looked after us even though we arrived close to kitchen closing time. Thanks again.

The pub manager was very friendly and welcoming when I stopped in during a walk along the Bridgwater to Taunton canal. I had my New Year's 2026 dinner here. I didn't get many pictures, but I'll visit again.

We parked here to cycle along the canal path, then went in for a drink and food. Good prices, generous portions and great quality. Great location and highly recommended.

We stayed over for a family party and had a lovely time. Breakfast was wonderful and freshly cooked for us, and the location by the canal is lovely. You can hear motorway noise, but that's to be expected. We couldn't stay for the Sunday carvery, though I've heard it's well worth coming back for. Lovely pub and very friendly staff.
