Travelodge Marlow

It was very quiet when I visited midweek, and there was hardly any noise. Everything was clean and tidy, the staff were accommodating, and there's a restaurant on site. Parking was plentiful, with payment by meter or through the Horizon app. The town centre is about a 15-minute walk away, with plenty of places to eat and some decent shops.

Parking was good value and not far from Marlow centre, and breakfast was okay, though there were no warm plates or bowls. The room was very small, and there were dog hairs everywhere. The corridors weren't cleaned at all during our two-day stay. When I asked for the room to be serviced, they only replaced the toilet roll and emptied the bin, and I didn't get the new towels I'd requested. At reception, one man was telling everyone quite loudly that he'd been arrested the day before. Another came in wearing a tag and helped himself to a drink. I'm staying again later in the year and hope things have improved.

We had a pleasant stay, and the staff were very friendly, approachable, and helpful. The whole place felt very clean, fresh, and tidy, almost like a new build, and the bar is stylish too. It's right in the middle of an industrial estate, so we took a short Uber into town, about £10 each way. Horizon Parking operates the car park, but because it was the weekend we found free parking out front on the road, with no parking app hassle. Thank you.

I needed somewhere for work for about two days, and it was a good place to stay. Food options were good, and the room was clean. The one thing I didn't particularly like was that a saver room only comes with 30 minutes of free Wi-Fi unless you pay extra.
